I have the following personnel listed as missing or killed while operating as part of Aufkl.Gr 122> However, I am unable to allocate them either to the Stab or one of the individual staffeln. can anyone assist with identifying their unit.

Fw. H. Petersen – MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939
Lt. H. Hahn – Crash landing 08 May 1942
Ogefr. H. Jung – Crash landing 08 May 1942
Oblt. F-W. Raschke – MIA 3 Jun 1942
Oblt. Erich Hedjuk – MIA 11 Jun 1942
Uffz H. Weise - MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939
Uffz A Kenzelmann - MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939
Flgr T Beckmann - MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939

Each of the dates here corresponds to an entry in the Aufkl. Gr 122 Diary page

Many thanks for whatever asistance you can give

Hi Andy,

I have the following on the officers.

Lt. H. Hahn – Crash landing 08 May 1942 - 3.(F)/122, Ju 88D (430002; F6+OL), Pilot?
Oblt. F-W. Raschke – MIA 3 Jun 1942 - Friedrich-Wilhelm, 3.(F)/122, Ju 88 (F6+CL), Pilot?
Oblt. Erich Hedjuk – MIA 11 Jun 1942 - 3.(F)/122, Ju 88 (F6+BL), Pilot?

Best Regards

Andy (F)

Hi Andy,

I little bit more reference a couple of the officers, though it probably muddies the waters rather than clearing things up!

Lt. H. Hahn - possibly Heinz Huhn who served with 3.(F)/122 from Jul41 until an unknown date, not sure which spelling of surname is correct.

Oblt. Erich Hedjuk - this is could be Erich Heiduk who served with 3.(F)/122 between Jan42-Jun42, end date of service ties in nicely. Again not sure which spelling of surname is correct.

Best Regards

Andy (F)

Fw. H. Petersen – MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939 - Fw. Hans Petersen, Pilot. 1.(F)/122. Killed flying Heinkel He 111 H WNr. 3154. 4 crew killed, others not named.
Lt. H. Hahn – Crash landing 08 May 1942 - Lt. Heinz Huhn, Pilot. 3.(F)/122. Wounded in action and crash landed at Schiphol due to enemy fire, flying Junkers Ju 88 D-5 WNr. 430002
Ogefr. H. Jung – Crash landing 08 May 1942 - Ogefr. Herbert Jung, Airgunner. Wounded in above incident with Huhn.

I would hazard a guess these were the crew of Petersen but still looking for info on them......
Uffz H. Weise - MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939
Uffz A Kenzelmann - MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939
Flgr T Beckmann - MIA/KIA 06 Dec 1939

Old thread....just seen you have much of the info on the Wiki

Hi Andy & Ian,

One little addition: Heinz Huhn turned 95 on 5 May 2015.

Cheers,
