Erich,

Checked de Zeng and Stankey - nothing found for the mentioned name nor any other von Arnim with links to (F)/100.

Do you have a timeframe?

Erich,

Will try to - unfortunately the source pdf (which that was clipped from) is not a good copy for that page.

The location looks something like Karbatiska Bucht

Crew are

Lt Kurt Beland (F)
Lt Hans von Arnim (B)
Uffz Werner Drese (?) (Bf)
Uffz Kurt Tachöpel (?) (Bs)

If you look on this map http://www.mapywig.org/m/German_maps/series/300K_UvM/Z45_Noworossijsk_III.1943_ungueltig_incomplete

You will see a Kabardinka located on the coast in the Zemesskaja Bucht - However, this is way north of the loss position given for Lt. Beland as being Tuapse.

Erich,

Just going through the latest De Zeng and Stankey - Luftwaffe Career notes and came to the entry for Harald, Freiherr von Arnim whose career appears to be somewhat disjointed including MIA on 26/08/43 only to be transfered to Ausb.u.Erg.Gr./FlugzeugÜberführungsgeschwader
1 as a Staffelführer on 31/08/43.
Feel an e-mail to Doug Stankey coming on.
