Hello,
I am researching the abandoned Karl Ritter feature film "Legion Condor" which began filming in Nazi Germany (Ufa studios, Babelsberg Potsdam) in August 1939 but after 15 filming days was halted due to the Non-Aggression Pact between Germany and the USSR. The film was anti–Bolshevik in nature so was not permitted to proceed further at the time. The script of the film I have and there are two instances when the word JOT is used:
The Airfield barracks of JOT
and Parade of the LC in Berlin, the JOT at the head of the march-by in front of the Führer.
These two scenes are with the Jadgfliegergruppe actors/characters portrayed in the film, modelled on the Kampfgruppe K88 at Sabadell under Genralmajor von Richthofen.
If anyone who has any idea of what the abbreviation JOT stands for, please let me know. Much appreciated.
