From today the URL http://www.luftwaffedata.co.uk will take you to a new "Home Page". This page now links you to all three of the Luftwaffedata family of sites -

Luftwaffedata! - the site now only contains the History of Aufkl.Gr 122. However, I have replaced the old format with a Wiki format using the MediaWiki software - this now offers improved maintenance and gives a fully searchable site.

LuftwaffeData Wiki the Wiki site, again driven by MediaWiki software. This site delivers Unit Histories, a Glossary, a Unit Codes listing, articles on specific Luftwaffe operatiions and a Downloads page. This is a community site and therefore, is maintained by the members.

The Master URL http://www.luftwaffedata.co.uk now links to a new web page.

Currently this still hands-off to the sub-domains and sites listed above.

The new page is built using a content management system (CMS) that will enable more pages to be added as time goes on.

It will also offer a simpler interface for community members to add pages and content themselves - it provides full WYSYWIG editing functionality. At the moment, until I get to grips with the user management functions, this is turned off.

I hope that the use of this new functionality will add to content that the Luftwaffedata sites can offer the user community.
