Not quite the place for this but I'm not sure where it fits on this forum

If anyone can point me in the direction of a few good books/chapters in books/whatever for specifically kustenflieger ops over the Black Sea it'd be great.

I've only found mention of it in Thiele's Torpedo Ops book and that is only a brief 1-liner so anything further than that would be gerat.

Hi Adam,

Stopped at Stalingrad (Joel Hayword; ISBN: 0-700601146-0) gives a good over view of Maritime ops in the Black Sea area in the context of the campaign to clear the Crimea (41-42) and the drive on Stalingrad (42-Feb43).

The book is about the Luftwaffe's participation in the Stalingrad campaign and events leading up to it. It isn't meant to be an close look at maritime ops in the area but does mention Fl.Fü. Süd and Son.Stab Krim quite extensively.

A great book for anyone interested in the Luftwaffe.

Cheers Andy
